GTA 6 Leak Reveals 24 Hairstyles for Jason and Lucia — and Some May Be Locked Behind Pre-Orders

Fans have spotted what appear to be 24 hairstyles for GTA 6 protagonists Jason and Lucia across trailers, screenshots, and promotional material. Lucia and Jason each appear to have 12 styles, including bobs, cornrows, buns, afros, buzz cuts, mullets, surfer hair, and more. Some hairstyles may be tied to pre-orders, the Vintage Vice City Pack, or Ultimate Edition-related content, though players should wait for Rockstar’s full official confirmation before treating every detail as final.

GTA 6 Leak Reveals 24 Hairstyles for Jason and Lucia — and Some May Be Locked Behind Pre-Orders

Character customization in Grand Theft Auto VI may be much deeper than many fans expected.

Across trailers, screenshots, promotional material, and store-related details, fans have already spotted what appear to be 24 different hairstyles for GTA 6’s two protagonists, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. That includes everything from clean military cuts and slick ponytails to afros, mullets, cornrows, buns, surfer hair, and more dramatic street-style looks.

For a game that is already expected to redefine open-world detail, this might sound like a small feature. But for GTA players, customization has always been part of the fun.

And this time, it looks like hair may not just be cosmetic.

Some styles appear to be tied to pre-order bonuses, special editions, or specific in-game locations, meaning players may want to know exactly what they are getting before choosing which version of GTA 6 to buy.

Lucia Caminos appears to have 12 hairstyle options so far. These include a Blunt Bob, Braided Cornrows, Design Buzz Cut, Half-Up Ponytail, High Slicked Ponytail, Layered Shag with Bangs, Long Voluminous Waves, Messy High Bun, Patterned Cornrows, Sleek High Bun, Voluminous Curly Afro, and Wolf Cut.

The Braided Cornrows may be especially important because Lucia is shown wearing them during what appears to be the prison sequence, which many fans believe could be part of the game’s opening. If that is true, this may be the first hairstyle players see on Lucia when the story begins.

The Blunt Bob has already become one of Lucia’s most recognizable looks from promotional material. It gives her a sharper, cleaner visual identity and fits Rockstar’s modern Vice City tone extremely well.

But the most interesting part is the possibility of exclusive styles.

The Voluminous Curly Afro is reportedly connected to the Vintage Vice City Pack, which is tied to pre-orders. Meanwhile, Patterned Cornrows and the Wolf Cut are expected by some fans to be linked to higher-tier editions, though not every detail has been formally confirmed by Rockstar.

Jason Duval also appears to have 12 hairstyle options. His list includes Buzz Cut, Crew Cut, Long Bro Flow, Long Wings, Messy Medium Cut, Messy Surfer Hair, Messy Undercut, Mohawk, Short Textured Crop, Short Textured Cut, Spiky Mullet, and Wavy Slicked Back.

Jason’s haircut options seem to reflect his background and character arc. The Buzz Cut and Crew Cut fit his military veteran image and could be early-game or default looks. Later styles, like Long Bro Flow or Messy Surfer Hair, suggest a more relaxed Vice City lifestyle as the story progresses.

One of the biggest questions is whether GTA 6 will include a dynamic hair growth system.

Rockstar already experimented with this in Red Dead Redemption 2, where Arthur Morgan’s hair and beard changed over time. If a similar system exists in GTA 6, Jason’s longer hairstyles may not simply be menu choices. They could be the result of letting time pass in-game, visiting salons, or using specific customization options.

That would make character appearance feel more connected to the world instead of being something players only change from a menu.

Two in-game customization locations have also been mentioned in connection with these looks: Sara’s Unisex Salon and Electric Fang Tattoo Shop. Sara’s appears to be where more traditional salon-style cuts are shown, while Electric Fang may be connected to edgier styles such as Lucia’s Design Buzz Cut and Jason’s Messy Undercut.

That matters because Electric Fang Tattoo Shop has been associated with Ultimate Edition content in promotional material. If certain hairstyles are tied to that location, some players may start questioning whether specific looks are edition-locked or simply tied to in-game access.

For collectors and customization-focused players, this is where the pre-order conversation gets more serious.

If the reported details are accurate, players who skip pre-order bonuses may miss Lucia’s Voluminous Curly Afro and Jason’s Long Wings. Players who buy only the Standard Edition may also miss out on some styles expected to be tied to the Ultimate Edition, such as Jason’s Mohawk or Spiky Mullet and Lucia’s Patterned Cornrows or Wolf Cut.

To be clear, fans should still treat some of this carefully until Rockstar gives a full official breakdown. Promotional screenshots and store descriptions can reveal a lot, but edition-specific details are not always final until launch.

Still, the overall picture is obvious: GTA 6 is putting serious attention into how Jason and Lucia look.

That is important because Rockstar’s protagonists are no longer just fixed characters in a fixed outfit. GTA 6 seems to be building them as people who can shift visually across the story, the city, and the player’s choices.

And that fits perfectly with the kind of game GTA 6 appears to be.

This is a game about identity, attention, crime, social media, style, and chaos. In a world where every character might be filmed, posted, judged, and memed, how Jason and Lucia look may matter more than ever.

Right now, global GTA 6 fans are already doing what they always do: zooming into screenshots, comparing outfits, tracking hairstyle changes, debating edition bonuses, and trying to figure out which details are real clues and which are just marketing noise.

Some players care about weapons. Some care about cars. Some care about the map.

But a lot of players are going to spend hours making sure Jason and Lucia look exactly right before they even start causing chaos in Vice City.
