Jason Duval

Overview

Jason Duval is one of the two protagonists of GTA 6 (GTA VI), alongside Lucia Caminos.

Raised among grifters and crooks, he briefly served in the army — which likely explains his combat skills — before ending up back in the Leonida Keys working for local drug runners.

As the story opens, he lives rent-free in a property owned by Brian Heder, in exchange for shaking down the drug runner's debtors.

Trailer 2 confirmed that Jason and Lucia are romantically involved, seemingly since before her imprisonment, and the pair are widely seen as a Bonnie-and-Clyde duo — a reading backed by Trailer 1's Uncle Jack's Liquor robbery.

After an easy score goes wrong, they're pulled into a criminal conspiracy spanning Leonida.

Jason went unnamed in the initial reveal, with Trailer 2 finally confirming his identity; in it, he shaves his beard and cuts his hair into a short, military-style cut before picking Lucia up from Leonida Penitentiary.

His voice actor is unconfirmed, with fan theories pointing to Gregory Connors, Jake Silbermann, and Dylan Rourke.

In a fight, his army background shows — he's most often seen with his signature Girardi ES9 pistol, getting around Leonida in his Tulip.
